After Hooked hit the national charts for the first time in 1995 (yeah that long ago!) the track was snapped up by Tripoli Trax and re-released in 2000 with new remixes by Steve Thomas (who was the Tripoli Trax A&R) and powerhouse duo OD404. It appeared as two separate 12 inches and a CD single (alongside TDV and Pete Wardman mixes) and crept into the national charts for a second time.
The Steve Thomas mix didn’t really get the credit that it deserved (wait for the ‘Glam’ drop around 2.40 minutes in) and is pretty hard to get hold of too (it’s on YouTube of course), but you can find it on the triple-disc CD mix 21st Century Hard House on React but as for downloads, it seems Tripoli Trax releases are unavailable anywhere like they’ve been scrubbed from the Internet (except for this SoundCloud page) I’m guessing this is down to licencing and sample clearance.
